Laptop not switching on
Hi......my dell i7 14z 5423 is not switching on. I used it the previous day and it was working fine but this morning when I switched it on, it couldn't start. I checked the cable charger and is working fine. I tested it on a different laptop. The screen is just blank and when it's plugged to the charger the LED light on the power button is still of. what could be the problem? I purchased my lap top last April.

Hi,
The Inspiron 5423/14z has an option of a reset button. You just need to use a paper clip or safety pin to reset the system by inserting the pointed end into the reset hole underneath the notebook.
