Inspiron 7559- Nvidia GTX 960m Disappeared

The Graphics card was working fine the other night, the next morning when when I booted up I noticed I not longer had the Nvidia control panel or Geforce experience. I looked in device manager and the graphics card was hidden.  I tried uninstalling the drivers and re installing them but the installer said it could not find compatible hardware. I then uninstalled the gpu from device manager and rebooted but it never came back. Im unable to install any drivers and my computer acts like there is no nvidia card.  There is no setting in bios regarding discreet video cards. I've done a full factory reset on the laptop as well and the video card still does not  show up.

I have verified i have installed all the latest drivers from the dell website and even spoke with dell support but got after an hour of troubleshooting I've just been handed off to multiple other people some of whom were in departments not able to handle my request.

Any ideas?

Hi Lunchboxaz

Thanks for writing to us.

Were there any updates the day before issue started?

Try doing a system restore to an earlier date when it was working fine (We doubt if there are any dates as you have done a factory reset).

If doing a factory reset didn't work suspecting a hardware issue.

Do provide us the system tag#, email id and name via private message.

Regards
