How to Find Ethernet MAC Address without Windows?

Is there a way to quickly and easily find the Ethernet MAC address of Dell Latitude D820 laptops (built-in Ethernet) without starting Windows and doing an "ipconfig" command? I tried looking in the BIOS and could not find the information. Is is printed somewhere on the laptop chassis? When pre-installed Vista starts, I have to go through the entire first time setup. Once that is complete, I ran ipconfig /all but the built-in Ethernet port doesn't show up (only built-in wireless) shows up. Maybe driver not loaded?

You can use a boot CD like Windows PE with networking enabled.  Run the ipconfig -all and it should report any adapters it sees.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm actually looking for a way to find the hardware MAC address without the need for any OS.
