How to disable shortcut keys?

I have an inspiron 6000 laptop and often use the FN+F keys to turn on the wireless card. However, often I press the wrong F key and hibernate my laptop or sleep my laptop instead. Is there a way to disable the FN-shorcuts to sleep and hibernate? Thanks.
