Hi,
Your computer contains two graphic processors. One is used for high-performance graphics whereas the other consumes less power. ATI graphics has to be manually selected to switch from Intel HD. Switchable Graphics is available as part of Catalyst™ Control Center. You can delegate all graphics processing tasks to a specific GPU. Use the Switchable Graphics page to change the current GPU selection to maximize system performance or power savings.
1. In both Standard View or Advanced View, click Power > Switchable Graphics.
2. Select the appropriate performance setting:
3. If prompted, make sure open applications are closed and click OK in the message dialog that appears to proceed with the GPU switch.
Alternatively, right-click the Catalyst™ Control Center system tray icon, select the graphics card that you want to configure, select Switchable Graphics, and then select the appropriate performance setting.
Please feel free to contact for further clarifications.

Hi Faisal Fazal,
High Performance GPU would definitely heat up the system as its working on its extreme performance level. However I would recommend, if system’s performance is getting dipped due to this then update the BIOS of computer, if it’s not the latest version.
To update the BIOS of your computer, follow the below mentioned steps:
-- Go to www.dell.com/.../NeedProductSelection
-- Put in the system’s Service Tag and choose the Operating System.
-- Select the BIOS and download the latest Version of BIOS.
-- Flash the BIOS and check if the system is working fine.

Hi,
You can find the version of BIOS in the BIOS screen. To go to BIOS screen, Start your computer and start tapping F2 continuously.
