How can I increase my processor speed?

I have a Pentium M with 1.3MHz and it's only running with 595MHz. How can I increase the speed?

Insaiko: Before using some other software that makes your CPU runnning at 1.3 GHz, try to think if it is really necessary when the system automatically increases the frequency according to the its activity.

Two steps:
 
1. Make sure SpeedStep is enabled in your BIOS setup.
 
2. In the Control Panel's Power options, choose either the "Always On" profile or the Home/Office Desk profile.
 
You'll be good to go. Enjoy!
