Handwriting on touchpad
How can I use a stylus or pen in lieu of my finger for handwriting on the touchpad of my Inspiron 8600?

Obtuse Philologist,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
The touch-pad on portable computers is very small. You m ay want to think about attaching a third-party device.

not to mention that the touchpad is pressure sensitive and even on the sensitivity turned up it is not sensitive enought to pick up the stylus. plus the stylus has a small contact point and if you were to apply the needed pressure to get it to register you would only damage the touchpad.

My uncle has a cool pen for this, it has a sort of metal disc instead of a tip, and it came with an old GlidePoint TM brand touchpad [the original]
