Elan Touchpad Driver (ETDWare USB x-64 7.05.1_X09)
Hi,
I tried disabling my laptop touchpad mouse when I plug in my USB mouse. I selected the disable option under the touchpad properties/preferences. The icon shows the disabled sign but the touchpad mouse is still active. I am thinking of uninstalling and then re-installing the driver. I cannot find the driver online so can someone direct me on where to locate this driver or provide me with some troubleshoot options to remedy this issue.
My PC is a Dell Inspiron 15 5548 model with windows 8.1 64-bit OS.
Please advise. Thank you.

Windows 10 does not regards settings from old mouse settings.
Go to Settings(win10)>Devices>Mouse and touchpad and switch Off => "Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected"
