Dell XPS 17 L702X HDMI port
I wanted to know if the HDMI port on the Dell XPS 17 was strictly output or if it was an output/input. if it is input capable what can i use to bring up the input video feed. Thanks for the assistance in advance.

it unfortunately does help, being in the military i cant exactly lug a tv around with me and the value of less is more is always a must. i was hoping to be able to hook a game console via HDMI to my laptop, but you cleared up what i had thought was the case where it is output only.

Hello,
I've read the thread bellow, but I have to ask...
I have a sony camera, and they have a software allowing to control the device from your computer using an usb cable, but no live view. It seems a bit stupid, and it surely is, considering the fact that it come in with a live view using wifi if you have a smartphone.
now this cam has an hdmi output and i thought I could trick him in having both control and live view ...
would that be possible on the XPS i7 L702X
