Dell Inspiron 1525 battery

Hi

I am about to purchase a Dell battery 1525 6 cell 48Wh battery with rating 11.1 V and type X284G. My original dell battery config (which is not working anymore now) was 41 Wh, 11.1V, type M911G. Also, my adapter is of 65W.

Will the above battery will be compatible for my laptop?? And will my adapter being of 65W will pose an issue?

Thanks

Hi MrSampath,

Thanks for verifying answer.

Power Supply Adapter for Dell Inspiron 1525  is 65W AC Power Adapter with 6ft cord. There will be no issues if you use 65W Ac adapter.

Hi Mohammed

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I have an adapter of 65W, will that still pose a problem if I install the above mentioned battery (11.1W,48WH)? I am asking this because I have seen in user comments that a adapter of 90W is normally preferred.

Thanks for your time.
