Curser and mouse pointer jump around screen?
How can I stop my mouse pointer and curser jumping around the screen erratically.
I own a new Inspiron 630m.

I have tryed removing the mouse but the problem still persists/?? Please help!!

The problem is that one of both of your thumbs are making very light contact with the touch pad while you are typing. This is a very common problem. To resolve this problem, open the touchpad properties (Synaptics or Alps) and change the touch sensitivity to be less sensitive. Also, turn off the "tap to click" feature of the touchpad.
