Clicking noise under keyboard?

Just bought a new 2-in-1 laptop, the Inspiron 11 3000 Series.  I've noticed that there's a "clicking sound" under the keyboard when I'm surfing the internet from time to time, and it almost always stops/slows down the internet and says "Not responding" at the top.  It only lasts for a few seconds, but I guess I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if it's something I need to have checked out?  I can try to provide more information if necessary, but that's really the best way I know how to describe it.
