Can a broken laptop screen emit radiation?

Hello,

The screen of my current Dell laptop has been cracked the left side of the frame for around 3 months now, but has been functioning fairly well. However, at times(I'd say happens 5x a day or so) where the screen becomes blurry and fizzes but goes back to normal in a couple seconds or so.

I noticed recently that my eyes become increasingly tired after staring at the screen for just a couple minutes. Could this be an issue with the laptop screen or could it be something external?

Is there any way to replace the screen and frame without completely switching laptops?

Hi jackshi1,

Thanks for posting.

You don't mention which laptop you have, but normally, yes, the screen and frame can be replaced without completely switching laptops.

Regards,
Robert
