Beats Wireless headphones to work with my Dell Studio XPS 16 laptop?

I have a Dell Studio XPS 16 laptop with "Bluetooth Devices" visible. When I attempt to sync my wireless headphones, the computer recognizes them as only a headset and won't connect.
