Battery Not Recognized
Hello Dell,
We are having a serious problem with the battery that we replaced for one of the Dell laptops. The Laptop model is Dell Latitude `E5530. We were getting a message that the Battery has to be replaced and we bought this battery from one of the third party vendors.
It ran for 2 weeks and now it comes up with some weird messages. The laptop isn't detecting the battery at all. We had sent the battery back to the vendor but he says the battery works fine at their end.
Please check from your end if this battery is genuine and explain why this problem keeps on happening.

Dear Ravi,
Thanks for the Reply. I have the same problem with another Laptop Dell Latitude E6520 whose battery was also replaced. The same batter was provided by the supplier and it is causing some problem in that laptop too. Does that mean this battery is incompatible with E6520 also.
Could you send me the compatible battery list for this laptop also ?

Hi Jacob,
The battery is genuine but it’s not compatible with Dell latitude E5530. You can look for the following battery part numbers below which are compatible with Dell latitude E5530.
6 Cell battery – 0HWXD, 2MV3R, 2P6GX, 7MMG4 etc.
9 Сell battery - 05VFW, 38CK3, 3CVD9, 5F1R5, 9981K, 9F77K, 9PCR0 etc.

Hi Jacob,
The part number TT84R is not compatible with Dell latitude E6520. You can look for the following battery part numbers below which are compatible with Dell latitude E6520.
6 Cell battery – 2VYF5, 5CGM4, 5G67C, 88WR6, 8RW5F, HCD9H, JHW87, etc.
9 Cell battery - 05VFW, 9981K, 9F77K, 9KN44, C42P9, DTG0V, FKYCH, JXK73 etc.
