adding USB boot option to legacy boot option in BIOS
I have a inspiron 5537 from which I want to boot a virtual OS from BIOS
After much initial difficulty I found my way to BIOS
Accessing the legacy boot option gives an option of adding a device or option
I need some information on how to configure this for a boot device attached via USB; say a flash drive on drive E:
What are the steps and protocol for achieving this?
Many thanks

If the system has windows 8 on it, it is set up in UEFI mode - whatever OS you want to boot from the flash drive must be set up on a GPT-partitioned drive. You cannot boot an OS installed with an MBR disc setup on a UEFI/SecureBoot system.
