How to connect to a PowerSwitch S4112F-ON
Hello,
I am trying to connect to my PowerSwitch S4112F-ON.
There are 4 connection Ports on this model.
2 x Console Ports
>micro USB-B Console Port
>RS-232 Console Port
2 x Management Ports
>Ethernet Management Port
>RJ-45 Management Port
What are the settings if going through a terminal (i.e. PuTTy)?
Thanks in advance.

@Origin3k
Do I connect with a
RJ-45 to RJ-45
or
DB9 female to RJ-45 Cable / USB to DB9 Male Adapter
or
USB to RJ-45 Console Cable
or
USB 2.0 to DB9 Male Serial Port Adapter

IIRC the swtich comes with a RJ-45 to DB-9 female cable which fits into the RS232 console port.
The RJ45 MGMT Port can be use as an OOB port after the intial setup.
I found the manual https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/de-de/networking-s4112f-on/s4112_on_install_pub/rs-232-console-port-access?guid=guid-d728b411-ff5d-4846-ac83-a3b357cc1185&lang=en-us

1. You need to use Microusb cable to access the switch serial console.
2. After connecting the switch through serial cable, need to configure Management interface to access the switch via SSH access..
