Blank Member on Isilon SMB Share

Hi, we use AD to access Isilon SMB share. Then i found out that there is blank row on member list below :

playhard_0-1682653729530.png

why the last member shown as blank? can we trace since when that member change to blank

since I'm pretty sure it was user domain before change to blank

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for your question. Which version of OneFS are you using? Can you try looking at the list of users on the share from CLI and see if it shows properly there? “isi smb share permission list” Is it just this share or multiple shares that have this issue?

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

@playhard , try using --domain

example
philler-2# isi auth status
ID Active Server Status
----------------------------------------------------------------------
lsa-activedirectory-provider:ICSLAB.LOCAL W2012R2.ICSLAB.local online
lsa-local-provider:System - active
lsa-file-provider:System - active
lsa-ldap-provider:centos7-ldap-server - online
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Total: 4

philler-2# isi auth users list --domain=ICSLAB.LOCAL
Name
--------------------
ICSLAB\alvinc
ICSLAB\administrator
ICSLAB\alfonso
ICSLAB\philly
ICSLAB\derek
ICSLAB\phil
--------------------
Total: 6

philler-2# isi auth users list --provider=lsa-activedirectory-provider:ICSLAB.LOCAL
Name
----
----
Total: 0

Hi, now we are on OneFS version 9.4.0.9, i think its because that user already removed from AD, and this just happend on SMB that have user removed from AD

example, when user A resign , it will removed from our AD

here is the output from CLI :

playhard_0-1683113942163.png

meanwhile on gui(management console)

@playhard., I

heard from one of my peers that they hit this too  in OneFS 9.4.x, Please create SR for support to check out. They said it was intermittent. Sometimes it shows the user, sometimes it doesn't,

essisi-2# isi auth roles members list SystemAdmin
Type  Name
------------------
-     -
-     -
user  admin
user  storageadmin
-     -
------------------
Total: 5

Hi Milena, It is like Phil said that you will need to call phone support to resolve this.
