Rather than integrating the vProtect GUI into DPC, I think the more likely solution is that there may be now or soon a vProtect ddboost plugin for Data Domain, in which case the proper interface would by DD Sys Mgr, which you can get easy link to from within DPC.
I suggest searching for a possible vProtect plugin and refer to the documentation for that if it exists.
