lbazterrica is correct that there is no completely virtual IDPA.
IDPA/PowerProtect appliance is only provided/supported as a physical appliance.
The DP4400 has one esxi host with the remaining IDPA components running as VMs.
The DP5xxx and DP8xxx models have 3 esxi hosts forming a vsan cluster.
DP5xxx has a physical Data Domain and the rest of the components are VMs running on the vSAN.
DP8xxx has a physical Data Domain and Avamar and the rest of the components running on the vSAN.
For a cost effective lab, you may want to consider the DP4400s, which is the smallest model available, with less storage than the DP4400 model.
Dell has online Labs and training/demo videos available to Partners here:

This IDPA playlist on youtube is available to anyone:

IDPA documentation can be found here:

If this helps please give KUDOS.
thanks

I don't think so, IDPA is a suite of software that runs on esxi.
but if you are looking for the latest firmware version (2.5 currently), it is a 65gig package that contains all the virtual ones that run inside the DP4400
doing some research it may be possible to extract them
