Upgrade SSD on Dell inspiron 15 5000
Hello guys! Can I upgrade my dell inspiron 5000 with SSD NVE M2 up to 2TB?. I will remove my HDD (its broken) and keep SSD only.
As per storage specifications compatibility, we can upgrade up to 512GB only, which is not enough for me.

You can use any M.2 SSD (SATA or NVMe) that physically fits into this Inspiron 5570. That said, the age of the system will limit you to a fraction of what current NVMe drives can deliver in terms of performance.
Though Dell likely tested only drives 512 G or smaller, larger capacity drives will work.

The Inspiron 5000 is a rather old laptop so I am going to assume you have a 5000 series Inspiron. In that instance it would help if you post the exact model number. But in general the specs only list the SSD that were tested with the laptop and not the maximum storage capacity drive that is compatible. Again an exact model number would be needed to confirm the largest compatible SSD but if you have a newer model of the 5000 series then you can probably go up to and including a 4TB SSD.
