Recovery Windows 10 on a Windows 11 Inspiron
My Inspiron was shiped with Windows 11 Professional. I was glad to see a Windows 10 Recovery option in the BIOS. But after using it, there was a fresh Windows 11 install. How can I fix it?

The recovery operation will only load the factory shipped OS; if you want Windows 10, the only option is a manual install of it.

@ejn63 thx, than the information the bios shows is wrong.
I would try to install W10, but I am not sure if I can use BIOS recovery later again, when I change the disk partions, for example if the recovery partion get lost.

If you make changes to the drive partitions, the recovery will fail. If you're worried about that, you should make and verify a full image backup of the as-shipped drive with Macrium Reflect or a similar disc imaging utility, along with a bootable flash drive for whatever utility you use.
