Power button as well as Goodix fingerprint sensor not working on Dell Inspiron 14 5490.
I can turn on my laptop (DELL INSPIRON 14 5490) using the "open lid to wake up" feature. I am unable to do so using the power button. I am unable to hard reset or drain the capacitors using the power button either. The fingerprint scanner, which is on the power button, has stopped responding to touch too. It all was working fine before.
What should I do.

That power button board is available at eBay here, and here, and here and a Google search turns up more sources.

Thanks for your response. The one that you are recommending is for some AIO computer. I have DELL INSPIRON 14 5490 laptop. Which has integrated fingerprint scanner (from Goodix) as well. Can not find the same for that.

My apologies as I missed that part of the model number. eBay has a number of switches for the 5000 series here, I am linking to them on the chance that one of them may be a match.
Also this YouTube video touches on the topic of repairing the button on a 5000 series.
