Poor Hinges in INspiron 15 3511
I have bought this laptop in October Month and by the end of December month its hinges are broken along with LCD panel in bottom. Right now i am not able to open the laptop, all my work has been stopped and i don't know when this will be resolved. Its not right to hurt the sentiments of customers this way for whom purchasing this laptop is a huge thing in their life and additional loss of work too. I dont know how would i manage my work from now.
Dell please solve this issue as soon as possible so that my work does not suffer.

Update = After verifying ownership, verifying still in warranty, and completing troubleshooting, a DELL agent setup service.

I bought this laptop 2 months back and even I'm facing the same issue.
Dell please take up this issue and try to fix this. Such a pathetic quality.

I also have the same issue, luckily system was still in warranty. Hence got saved for now, but if the same problem persist in future (after warranty expires) it will be toll on the pocket. There seem to be shortage of product that need to be replaced (as per Dell support team), so may be it is recurring issue with others & hence lot of demand for those products. It has been a week & still issue is not resolved. Not able to open my laptop coz of this issue.

I have the same problem and it is out of warranty. 1 year and 8 months later. I have never seen anything like this in my computer life time.

Got mine brand new as a Christmas gift, this problem arose as soon as January 11th. LESS THAN A MONTH and my laptop couldn't even hold up. This is extremely disappointing quality for a product I've looked forward to so much.

If the device is still within return period (30 days US return policy), request a return for refund and shop for a different model. Note that customers may not find replacement parts once the warranty term runs out.
If it passed return period and is under warranty, click on Get Help Now and request repair under hinge policy
