Poor Hinge issue returns

In the Initial months of buying this laptop, I faced Poor Hinge Issues and I couldn't open the lid. It was under warranty so I got this resolved.

After 2 Years , the issue has returned again. Same issue, same problem.  Now I am not under warranty. And the technical support is quoting a heavy sum for resolution. Assume I get this issue fixed by paying out of pocket, what guarantee is that this issue will not surface again.

Ive seen many people face this issue and I'm not sure why Dell is not recalling this laptop or permanently resolving this issue. 

I've never faced this issue with any other laptops I've purchased over the years. 

This issue has to be escalated to higher management or head office
