Laptop screen broke and cannot connect to external monitor
Hi,
I have a dell inspiron 5570, recently I broke the screen, so I tried connecting to external monitor, but it doesn't display anything, I connected other laptop I have ( which is in good connection to see if the problem is with wire, and it works).
So I start the laptop, keyboard backlits and F10 key to turn off and on keyboard lights works, I want to know if anything other failed, like motherboard or SSD, please help me in figuring out the issue.
I can see nothing on screen except white on some areas and black in some areas, and white on the crack lines. Please guide me in knowing if anything else has failed.

Assuming you are using Windows:
try: Windows key + P > Arrow Down > Enter
With Windows key + P you can select different "screen projection" options (PC only, Duplicate, Extend and 2nd screen only). Therefor you maybe have to use the Arror Down twice to see any effect.
e.g. Windows key + P > 2x Arrow Down > Enter
