Inspiron keyboard issue

Hi.

I have an Inspiron 3505 and the keyboard has stopped working.  Keyboard back light illuminates and the mouse pad works.  On/off switch also works.  Pc works perfectly with an external keyboard just nothing at all from the laptop keyboard.

It has been dropped from a low height prior to the problem presenting.  What could have broken??
