How Do I Factory Reset This Computer?
F8 does nothing but bring up automatic repair and then it sits here for hours doing nothing. I can't remember my password and F12/F2 have no options to factory reset the stupid thing. I've spent days searching and trying different things to no avail... any input is greatly appreciated.

Use the MS media creation tool to build a Windows boot flash drive and do a wipe/clean install. If you're referring to the Windows password, it cannot be recovered.

@ejn63 the only issue with that is this is my only computer currently. I have no way of transferring to a USB. I'm just trying factory reset the computer, there's nothing of importance on it as I mainly used it for video editing and steam.

You will need boot media to do the job unless you know the current Windows password, plain and simple. There is no magic reset for a lost password other than a clean install.
