G15 5515 Display Screen Driver - Microsoft Basic Display Adapter Driver, No Manual Display Driver Download

Hello,

I run a version of Windows 10 without Automatic Updates or Microsoft Store capability for reasons of OS security and eliminating telemetry and I've needed to download support drivers individually for manual installation. I have not been able to locate a Display Driver on Dell's Driver Support page that allows the 165 Hz monitor to operate as intended. It currently runs only at 64 Hz using the Generic Microsoft Display Driver with no other options.

I have tried extracting "NVIDIA-GeForce-Graphics-Driver_PM84F_WIN_27.21.14.6236_A02.EXE" and pointing manually with the "Update Driver" windows function to this folder, but this does not work. Is the screen display driver contained within this NVIDIA package or is it somewhere else? Please advise.

SOLVED: found Snappy Driver Installation Origin (SDIO) which worked great at filling in all the missing manually downloadable drivers from the OEM page including my display screen adapter. It even found more-up-to date drivers across the board than the ones I downloaded from Dell. Funny how you get a better result with open source 3rd party software...
