Fresh Win 10 install not detecting WIFI networks

I've just done a Windows 10 reset (native windows option to perform fresh install retaining personal files/data) but since resetting, my laptop is not detecting my WIFI network . It finds OTHER WIFI networks in the vicinity (e.g. my neighbours) and gives me the option to connect to them, but does not detect my own WIFI network coming from a router in the same room. Other devices in the same room detect the same WIFI network okay.

Post Windows 10 refresh I've installed the Dell SupportAssist app and it has downloaded all the latest drivers for my hardware incl the Dell Wireless 1704/1708 driver. The device shows as being enabled in Device Manager with drivers up to date. If I try to manually add my home WIFI network SSID windows tells me it already added, so Windows obviously has a record of the SSID but is not detecting it.

Before refreshing Windows, my laptop could detect and connect to my SSID fine. My WLAN adapter is 2.4Ghz and my router is advertising both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks. Another Win 10 desktop PC in the same room (Acer hardware) can detect and connect to all networks I would expect. I've tried enabling the personal hotspot on my iphone which my Dell laptop has connected to previously. Again, it does not detect the iphone network either. 

I'm a tech professional (not in desktop support I should add) but I have to admit I'm throwing in the towel here, any ideas anyone please? Thanks in advance.
