Dell G7 7590 PCH overheating issue due to bad design

I owned a G7-7590 laptop for 16 months, everything went well until recent days.

The system has been being forced to shut down for few times when I was playing game recently. After some investigations, I found it was due to PCH overheating issue (the temperature is reaching 100C):

This is PCH temperature when the laptop is idle, it is considerably HIGH (73C):

I tried removing the back cover to see if any dust clogging the vents, etc. Apparently there is none, but I realized something, the PCH is naked without any heatsink. I did not take the snapshot, but I can find a snapshot of the laptop internal online:

But, by referring to online pictures, I can find a heatsink on PCH in G7-7790, 17 inch model:

Apparently Dell knows things could go wrong with PCH, and they decided to put a heatsink over PCH in 17 inch model. But why not in 15 inch model? To me, 17 inch model is just an enlarged version of 15 inch model, given the similarity in arrangement of components in both laptops. I feel disappointed for buying a crippled laptop, which should be a performance laptop according to Dell's claim.

So, Dell folks, please answer my question:

How do I resolve this problem? Stop suggesting me those software tweaks to achieve lower temperature. These settings are actually downgrading the performance of the laptop. If I were to expect a lower laptop performance, I won't have bought this laptop.

Had more than one week conversation with Dell Support, here are the key takeaways:

1) There will be no heatsink over the PCH for G7 7590 as this is by design.

2) The system will turn off automatically if the system heat is high due to high usage continuously (2 hours +). What a caring approach by Dell to get us away from gaming addiction.

All in all, the PCH overheating issue is not fixed. Shame on you, Dell.

Guys, if you happen to own this model - brace yourself for potential overheating issue. Good luck and god bless you.

I must have the same motherboard revision, my friend's g7 with the same i9 9880h, rtx 2080-maxq config has the PCH max out at 65c, mine maxed out at 85c when gaming, causing the fans to ramp up after even while the system is idle
There being no PCH heatsink, this does absolutely nothing but make annoying loud noise as if a vacuum cleaner is in my room while I wait for it to cool, or make the system sleep so it cools more quickly, mine can be in the 70s while web browsing.

I think dell has some faulty batches? This is not acceptable, I don't want my laptop, which even with a massive outlet discount was $2249, and would've been 800 more from the outlet without the sale, to become a glorified door stop in two years after the warranty has run out!

I have analyzed the boards of both the g7 7590 and 7790 and determined they are identical, with the same screw holes but a wider heatsink and longer IO board cable, the 7790's PCH heatsink should fit perfectly, but this is definitely a faulty board revision regardless, as my friend's does not have this problem at all, even without a cooling pad.
