DELL G3 3579 UPGRADE - RAM AND SSD

Hi, I have DELL G3 3579 - (Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2208 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)) with 128GB SSD AND 1TB HDD.

However recently my HDD has given up and so I am looking to upgrade to 1TB NVME M.2 SSD and No HDD.

So, I want to upgrade my RAM and SSD.

1) In the manual it shows that NVME M.2 SSD can be upgraded only up to 512 GB, but on Crucial's website they have provided that 1TB SSD is supported. So can I buy the crucial 1TB SSD (Crucial P3 1TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD from this link https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/dell-g3-3579), will it work fine?

2) For RAM, I currently have 8GB DDR4 RAM, I am looking forward to fill the second RAM slot with crucial 16GB RAM from here (https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/dell-g3-3579). So I will have 1x8 + 1x16 = 24 GB total RAM.
But in the manual, it is given that supported configurations are 4,8,16,32 GB.
So will 24 GB work fine or cause issues?

I read that many users have upgraded to Crucial's RAM and SSD. So please help.

The SSD upgrade you want to do will work fine.

For memory, there's good reason not to do the upgrade you want.  Either install another 8G module or two 16s -- mismatched modules will mean at least part of the RAM  in the system will run at half-bandwidth.  With 8+16, only the first 16 G will be at full bandwidth -- the remaining 8 will run at half bandwidth.
