Dell G15 5520 Ram/Memory Upgrade.

I was wondering if the VENGEANCE SODIMM DDR5 4800MHz would be compatible with my laptop. At the moment I just have one 8gb stick in there.

No.  This is high performance gaming RAM, designed for systems that allow for adjusting memory parameters like latency -- your system does not allow the adjustments.  The RAM is too aggressively timed to work correctly in your system.

Look for RAM tested and guaranteed to work -- Crucial is one source.  Kingston and others also offer RAM certified to work.
