Dell G15 (5515 Ryzen Edition) not accepting more than 16GB of RAM?

Hello. I have purchased two Kingston RAM modules for my Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition laptop. 2x16GB Fury Impact DDR4, 3200Mhz 1.2V. The problem I encountered is the Laptop will say it encountered an error and needs to restart. It happens every time when I open my usual programs, like web browsers and a video game at the same time. When I quickly open task manager, I can see the correct amount of RAM is recognized in Windows. I also tested the RAM modules individually and they seem to work fine... But the moment I put them together, it's just a matter of time before the laptop will show the error with the blue screen. For the time being I put the original RAM modules back in and it works fine.

BIOS version is 1.20.0 - could downgrading the BIOS version to, say, 1.16.0 possibly solve my issue? There's a post on reddit from a G15 5530 user: they have an extremely similar problem to mine, with 32GB of RAM being the maximum amount "Accepted" by their laptop.
