Built-In Microphone Array Intel Smart Sound Technology - Noise Cancellation not working

I've recently had my LCD Assembly replaced on my G3 3590 and the microphone is included in that assembly, and only recently I had my friend complain that they can hear everything on my end like my keyboard strokes and laptop fans. I then updated my BIOS and Realtek drivers to the latest and no change, but when I used the microphone of my earphones, the noise cancellation works as expected being labeled as Microphone Realtek(R) Audio on the device list, when I switched back to the Intel SST Mic the background noise is prevalent again. This had me confused because I just updated the Intel SST driver from the device manager and yet the noise cancellation still isn't working. I doubt it's a hardware issue since it has no problems picking up sound it just picks up everything, so I'm inclined to think it's a driver issue. Help is appreciated thank you.
