Boya Mic not working/recognising in laptop

Hey,

I am Dell Inspiron 7560

I have bee try using Boya Mix - M1 in the laptop as an external mic.
What I see is that, It is not recognising it at all. I think it considers it as Headphone/Headset but not as Mic.

I have tried configuring it via Sound Setting but it doesnt even show up there, nor as Mic or Headset/Headphone

Boya M1 Mic states that it will only work in the laptop which have a combined jack for Microphone as well as Headset.

I have no clue, does my jack support the combined things ?

Please help resolving this issue.

Regards

I have been taking online classes on my Dell Vostro 15 3568 using boya lapel mic which was working fine until March, I believe. However quite recently when iI got back to take classes again I had discovered the same issue of mic not getting recognised. I had reset the laptop in order to find a resolution but to no avail.

However I also have a desktop mic which also is not showing up in the lost but records the audio.

Hope an early resolution is found.

I also use the exact mic: Boya mm1. Only difference is my laptop is Dell Inspiron 5579 with Windows 10 Home

I have tried Control panel -> Sound settings as well. Updated the drivers for realtek. But still is not detected by system

I recommend you check these methods to repair any Windows problem.

Press the Start key and type the word CMD, right click on the command prompt and select Run as administrator, enter the following commands one by one followed by the Enter key:
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
•- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
•- DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
•- sfc /scannow

Have you guys found any solution yet?
When I'm plugging in my Boya m1 mic, it shows that a headphone is connected but doesn't show any mic connected. I can only switch between my output device and for the input device it just shows that one device is available, which is my laptop's internal microphone.

I guess your system was in widnwos 11 I too facing the same issue The actual reason was In windows 10 we used to get a pop-up when connected to an external device through 3.5mm jack showing to select the type of device connected like Headphones /mic etc...   Even we can control it by Waves Maxx audio But it is not supporting to my Dell G3 3500     I have even tried to control it by Realtek audio console But there is a problem for connecting it to the RPC Server
