Using the HDMI Input on a Dell 7700 All in One
Hi
My Dell 7700 All In One PC, has a HDMI Input - can anyone tell me how I switch the screen to show the feed from the thing I plunged into the input? I can only find one button on the computer which powers it on / off - no other buttons.... and it doesn't auto select that input.

Explain the "thing" you are plugging into the hdmi port. It must have an HDMI output port.

Ignore that, found the tiny second button... .However, does anyone have any suggestions on how you adjust the volume when using the monitor just as a 'tv' for the input?

So, what was your solution, Adam? What is the "tiny second button" you speak of?
Much Thanks!

Right next to the power button at the bottom edge of the monitor, there is a small button called BIST (built-in self-test) When you press it may show video input select source on screen, which allows you to choose an external video.
See:
2. Display Built-in Self Test button/Input-source selection button

Well, updated graphics card, bought new HDMI cable and still doesn't see the other monitor. It worked fine for a year now it doesn't see it? any suggestions?

@Janypat Are you talking about an Inspiron 7700 AIO or some other PC model?
The graphics card in the Inspiron 7700 AIO can't be removed/replaced by the user. So provide more details, including your exact PC model, version of Windows, and what graphics card you installed...
