Memory upgrade Insiron 3910

OK, enough already with the Ram game that dell seems you to want to play or shell out $300+ for a 32gb upgrade. Has anyone found a generic or other named brand of RAM that will work with this system (Inspiron 3910) or some kind of work around, I am on my second attempt with Crucial 32gb 2x16 DDR4 3200mhz UDIMM 1.2v CL22 CT2K16G4DFRA32A. After install the system wont boot, I have tried placing a single modual (16gb) with the same results. The current ram that is installed is MICRON- MTA4TF1G64AZ-3G2F1 this is an 8gb stick I have 12gb total 8gb+4GB. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are having trouble installing a RAM upgrade for your Inspiron 3910, it's important to make sure that you are using compatible memory modules. It's recommended to check the system's specifications and the memory compatibility list from Dell's website to ensure that the RAM modules you are using are supported by your system. If the Crucial RAM you purchased is not working, you can try reaching out to their customer support for assistance.

Additionally, you can try resetting the BIOS to its default settings to see if that resolves the issue. You can do this by turning off the system, unplugging it from the wall, removing the battery and unplugging any external devices. Hold down the power button for 15 seconds, then release it and plug everything back in and try booting up again. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Dell support for further assistance.

The clearing of the BIOS via removing the on board battery was the KEY. Up and smoking with my 32gb ram upgrade. Thanks so much.
