Inspiron G5 5000, microphone stops working

Recently I bought a Dell Inspiron G5 5000 Gaming Desktop and its seems to work perfectly fine except for one thing, when I plug in my microphone it works for about 1-2 seconds then cuts out completely. I can confirm it's not the microphone itself because I tested it on other devices. I even reinstalled drivers and reset my PC. I need a fix for this or a new PC.

How is this mic connected to PC?

Did you look on Windows Microphone screen to make sure it's enabled and apps have permission to use it?

Next, open Windows Sound screen and make sure the correct Input device is selected, and click Troubleshoot.

I didn't mean to write Inspirion in there, I did by accident because I visited the dell site before this and "Inspirion" was in my head... But a mod already helped me with the situation and said that drivers and software is fine, its a broken port. He said he was gonna contact me as soon as possible.
