Inspiron 3847, how to put into service mode?

I need to set Inspiron 3847 to service mode. I found https://www.tachytelic.net/2021/12/dell-optiplex-7010-pcie-nvme/#comment-319871 mentioned that Inspiron 3874 also has jumper MECLR1 that put 3847 into service mode. But I can't find MECLR1 jumper from Inspiron 3847 manual. Does anyone know where this this MECLR1 jumper is on motherboard?

Look between cmos battery and chipset there is a 3 pin jumper I can see “…CLR1” but the beginning is obscured on internet pic.

the password and cmos CLR jumpers are next to the white 24 pin atx socket.

service manual would not list service jumper.  This is a technician details Dell would not like users to mess around with.

@LopezBistro - Can I ask why you want to go into Service Mode, out of curiosity....

I have been trying to get my Dell Inspiron UEFI backup up but keep getting a 201 error. Says it will not work on this platform? Intel machine running an Intel i5 processor. Have you tried to upgrade one of these?

    *Update on my last post*

My chipset is newer than this post so I downloaded a different Intel Management Engine System tool. I was able to dump the bios and add the file for NVME support. I copied the file back, restarted and verified it was still there. I ordered a drive and adapter card that will be here tomorrow.

To get the Inspiron into Service Mode you need to move the jumper MECLR1. Note: during boot up the system does not warn you that you are in Service Mode. I switched it back and tried again to dump the file. This time it was not readable. So far all is good here.

@redxps630 That is exactly what I saw on my Inspiron 3847. After Inspiron 3847 is put into service mode, I'm able to update BIOS with Nvme support so that it can boot from Nvme. Now my old Inspiron 3847 can have several more years new life.

Thank you.

@RoHe I tried to flash mod BIOS to support Nvme boot so that the old legacy desktop can have several more years new life.

good.  it was said you need a newer Intel ME tool than Intel Management Engine System Tools v8 r3,   which one did you use that works on 3847?

@redxps630 Actually I used HWinFO64 to find ME version on my MB is Intell ME 9.1 with Chipset H8. Then matched Intel ME tool "ME System Tools v9.1 r7" is found from here.
