Dell inspiron 3847 gpu upgrade

Hello everyone I wanted to upgrade my secondary pcs graphics card to a Gtx 1050ti G1.The card is 8 inches long so should fit.Its draws a maximum of 75 watts. However it does have a 6 pin connector which the current 300w psu doesnt supply.I have a sata power 15pin to 6 pin adapter.I cannot upgrade my psu as all the models that are compatible with my pc are discontinued and sell for about 500 on ebay which is double how much the pc is worth.I cannot upgrade the psu so will the standard 300w psu supply enough fo ra gigabytge gtx 1050ti G1 gaming? This is the card

NVIDIA says 1050 TI is a 75w card.

No mention whatsoever of any AUX power.

https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-1050-ti/specifications

Maximum Graphics Card Power  75(W)

Since the card has AUX power its likely its actually NOT a 1050 ti but rather a GTX460 or GTX950 or worse.  It has fake bios that says its a 1050ti.

".However it does have a 6 pin connector "  this means its MORE THAN 75W.

Recommended power supply minimum is EVGA 700BR.

https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-BR-0700-K1

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-700w-atx12v-eps12v-80-plus-bronze-power-supply-dc-dc-technology-black/6346160.p?skuId=6346160

75W or less cards DO NOT HAVE aux power connections.

Its also an indication that this is a FAKE 1050TI card.

Ok thanks for your help

The card does only take 75w But has a connector for overclocking stability purposes.Ok maybe it does take up over 75w ,will a 1050ti with no connectors 75w require a psu upgrade or not. These psu wattage calculator websites are useless for oem pcs because half of the hardware on oem is hidden or integrated on to the motherboard. The default psu was an 300w 80 plus bronze.

Removing DVD drive does not Give you 375W or more for the power supply.

Yh but i meant like to reduce load wattage. An inspiron 3847s load wattage is around 230 watts.Removing the drive would give you something like 210 watts which isnt much but could help.I guess a 1050 ti should work but may crash under load and may burn everthing.285watts load is still to much for a 300w psu because it would not actually be outputting 300w constantly.I am just doing this to super sure that my pc wont blow up.

thx
