JOcean is correct that the AC adapter itself is 220V compatible (adapter label says 100-240v). You may need to acquire a Dell 250V power cord w cloverleaf end to plug into the adapter though if you are moving to UK.

According to the specs listed here, the adapter is 100-240 VAC. And the adapter also has on the label the same specs.
