Hi,
I have some RDF devices showing on EMC console.
Is the RDF device use the local disk array storage or a remote disk array?

the key device attributes when it comes to SRDF are mainly Rdf1(local) and rdf2(remote)
. But with in that you could see RDFx-BCV , RDFX-BCV-Mir, RDFx-R-5 , RDFx-BCV-R-5 , RDFx-Mir etc where x stands for 1 or 2

RDF attributes specified that device can /is participating in SRDF relationship, where replication takes place between two or more Symmetix arrays.

Thanks for the information. So the actual storage is allocated to this RDF devices from the local symmetrix array only.
Am I correct?
