symmask list hba
Hi all,
I have a problem with the command "symmask list hba".
My environment:
Windows2003 SP1 server with powerpath 4.6.1, solution enabler 6.3.1 and HBA Qlogic QMC2462S.
DMX3 and 2 DS4100B in ISL on a fabric and 2 DS32-B2 on the other fabric with Firmware Fabric O.S. 5.0.3.
The problem is that I have 2 HBA but the command shows me only one.
However if I perform masking opertions I can see deviced from Powerpath correctly.
Thanks in advance
David

it is installed and works properly. I changed the setting from "AL and otherwise point-to-point" to "point-to-point2".
I see correctly the 2 hba and the device expanding the hba tab.
The problem seems to be only in the symcli.
From powerpath, operating system and sunsurfer all seems fine....

here you are some interesting primus:
emc161154
emc160943
emc166031
It seems a problem related to the version of PowerPath, in fact I unistalled PP 4.6.1 and installed PP 4.5.1 and the command "symmask list hba" returned to works correctly.
However I think to use 4.6.1 because.......as the primus said.....
"it is functioning as per its design"
Thanks

start here, select your HBA model, OS (drivers listed on this page have been qualified by EMC)
