Statstics for SRDF/A

Does anyone have any nice charts for monitoring SRDF statistics? The current data available in WLA is not the best for SRDF/A specifically.

I'm considering putting together a utility using symstat output, but figured I could see if anyone has already put something together to measure network throughput, cache utilization, and a few other metrics.

Thanks.

The WLA data in ECC 5.x is hopeless for monitoring SRDF/A and manually running symstat is really your only option.

If you are having srdf/a issues then I would suggest that you continuously run the following symstat's somewhere and save the output.

"symstat -reptype rdfa -type requests -i 60"
"symstat -reptype rdfa -type cache -i 60"
"symstat -reptype rdfa -type cycle -i 60"

Fortunately ECC 6 is now collecting srdf/a statistics, so if you upgrade ECC, WLA will capture the stats you are after and save you this hassle...

Good Luck,
Glen.

Thanks - I am looking forward to the new statistics but we are still about 3 months out from getting our new environment ordered and installed for ECC 6.0 so I was looking for something in the short term.

I figured someone has to have come-up with something to help them keep an eye on how well SRDF/A is performing in their environment especially to help handle growth.
