SRDF and Concatenated metas volumes

I have several concatenated meta devices that need to the replicated to our dr site. I have been told that SRDF does not support replication of concatenated metas. Can anyone confirm concatenated metas are not supported by SRDF and point me to a doc that explains SRDF limitations. If not supported what can I use to replicate concatenated to dr site.

See http://powerlink.emc.com/km/live1/en_US/Offering_Technical/Technical_Documentation/300-001-165_a05_elccnt_0.pdf page 45: "Concatinated meta volumes must have equal size members". Otherwise, it should work.

When you need to bound a pair of metavolumes with RDF you must keep in mind that

1) the number of members must match
2) the size of each member must match
3) the configuration of the metas must match (striped/concatenated)
4) if striping is used, stripe size must match

R1 and R2 devices can have different protection (RAID/Mirror/Unprotected)

If you have a DMX-2 (or older) on one side and a DMX-3 (or later) on the other side of the RDF link, be aware that the size (in cyls) must be carefully reviewed since with symcli a DMX3 will report sizes with 32K tracks while if you look at the binfile, tracks will be 64kb each.

AFAIK a concatenated meta can be succesfully RDF protected.

We replicate Concatenated RAID-5 devices over SRDF/CE with no problem. Just follow the guidelines everyone mentioned above.
