(ok, at least one of those "views" is mine). I did a quick search and found nothing 'responsive' on the products listed. Next step is to engage the support staff for these products to see what info is available for them vs. z/OS 1.9.

Will update here.

Current and future GA release levels of EMC mainframe (MVS, OS/390 based) software products are supported on all release levels of MVS/ESA, OS/390, and z/OS operating systems that IBM currently supports, including new releases within 60 days of GA. Primus emc5239

No maintenance is needed? Just whatever level of a current version product is good.

Welcome to the Mainframe S/W Forum!

You should always check first.

From powerlink hit the quick search link; that will bring up a search window. Do a Knowledgebase ( I think there it's called "Support Solutions"? ) search on ' ' compatible with z/OS

That should bring up a raft of solutions entitled "Is ...compatible with z/OS ..."

If you limit the search by product name, be careful that you select ANY version of the product.

Also, you can subscribe to get notified of updates on powerlink documents. In your case, you want
< nothing up my sleeve... PRESTO! >
:-o If you could only have seen the size of the fully resolved URL ... it was truly impressive.

Let me try this another way -
Mainframe Productivity Suite Software Release and Patch Notifications is the name of the document you want. When you do the search, the results screen will pop up with a hyperlink, a brief description, and some icons next to it.

There's a lightning bolt icon - if you click it, updates to this document will notify you by email.

Hope this helps.
