New disk for dmx4
We have purchased 36 new disk for our dmx4 that is connected to our IBM mainframe and windows/AIX environments. The new disk will be used for new IBM mainframe systems. I will work with EMC RTS/CE to create a new disk group and add 26 disks to that group. We will create 86 mod 27's and 125 mod 9's.
This will leave me 10 disk out of the 36. I have used SMC and symcli to create devices, form metas, map/mask devices etc. I have never done anything on the back end related to disk drives. Is it possible for me to use SMC to create a new disk group and add the 10 disks? It's also possible that I may want to add some disk to an existing disk group. Can I do that with SMC?

It looks like that symmetrix area is the most active thus we'll probably lock all other threads leaving a pointer to the active one.
