If you make use of the Powerlink search, then use the words from your own post to search eg "EMC Support Matrix for HP-UX timeout" it returns the following document at the top:

On further thought I have moved this to Other Host Software. Which maybe we should rename Other Host Software and Operating Systems.

The LVM requirements for each array are located in the footnotes of the EMC support matrix.
