How do I do exclude a data set from VIO PLUS in Performance Essential?

PSPRookie, I would first suggest that you upgrade to Performance Essential 3.0.4, which is the latest version of the product. You can exclude a data set by adding an entry at the data set level in the Control Repository to Suppress VIO processing for that particular data set. Another way would be to add a VIOCTL DD statement in the jobs jcl and specify the DSN='SUPPRESS' statement in the step that the data set resides, which will cause VIO to not buffer that data set.
